METTA is an ancient Pali (Buddhist) term meaning loving-kindness. It is a strong wish for the welfare and happiness of others. We chose Metta Emergence as our name because ‘the emergence of loving kindness’ represents the extension of our shared value system and what we believe is needed in this world.
