Groups for Counselling Professionals
Our professional development focus groups provide practitioners with an opportunity to expand their skills, experience and knowledge, in a more interactive way that one-to-one sessions. Professional groups provide the benefit of the expertise of all members, allowing for learning from the diverse backgrounds and experiences of different practitioners, who may use a range of therapeutic modalities and perspectives on situations.
Group members are able to learn from the feedback and support given to their own sharing and experiences, as well as from the experiences of others in the group. No matter the specific topic or focus of the group, the goal is always to support practitioners to provide better outcomes for their clients.
In many instances, working in a group setting can also be more cost-effective when compared to the equivalent number of one-to-one hours.
Counselling Supervision – For Professionals
Monthly group supervision sessions are for the counseling practitioner to support their ongoing professional development. Each session consists of a number of case discussions from group members own practice, as well as administrative queries or their parallel personal process.
